An 8+ Player CO-OP, VR & Desktop Crossplay Survival Action Game. Designed as a social experience and can be played as a lone wolf too.

  • Create compelling and engaging environments that support ambient atmosphere, destructible meshes, interactive VR elements, and art direction

  • Manipulation of landscape terrain, placement and design of loot areas, blueprint integration editing of gameplay mechanics

  • Collaborate closely with lead engineer during playtests to ensure proper functionality within game systems


VR Time Machine

 
 

A 4-person VR Multiplayer Wave Shooter created as an original IP for a client manufacturing hardware of location-based VR entertainment experiences for business operators at arcades, malls, movie theaters, bowling alleys and more. Was installed at Boomers Irvine and Two Bit Circus. 

  • Created pitch deck and negotiate budget with client to develop gameplay and cutscenes for LBE and product managed production using Trello 

  • Creative force behind character development, design, and story - communicating with 3D modelers to bring the characters, weapons, environment and time machine to life

  • Directed and assisted in motion capture of main actor using Xbox Kinects and mocap cleanup, performance face capture using iPhone livelink, and keyframe animation of visual fx


IBM AI/AR Cognitive Christmas Tree

 
 

Using tablets, designed a Christmas themed AR/AI scavenger hunt integrating IBM’s Watson image classification model that triggered story events when the user found particular ornaments in the room (IRL), driven by story driven prompts. Worked very closely with IBM and together were able to successfully get IBM Watson's visual recognition software to communicate with the Unreal Engine creating our "Cognitive Christmas Tree." Tree was auctioned off at the event for $8,000 with the proceeds going to the Providence O’Christmas Trees Gala that’s been serving people in need for 150 years.

  • Conceptualize, design, and develop original story idea to pitch to IBM and negotiate budget for production, travel, and props needed for charity event

  • Demonstrate tablet and Magic Leap tech, walk children and adults through experience, and troubleshoot experience on location

  • Facilitate Magic Leap donation for AR integration, develop and donation to highest bidder, and won People’s Choice Award During the Family Preview Night of event
