Jessica Villarreal is originally from Austin, Texas and is a gamer, game journalist and promotional spokes model.  Her gaming career started in 2006 when she became the news segment producer for All Games Radio, the world’s first and only live daily Internet radio network to focus on the video game industry.  In 2008, Jessica became an editorial writer for, a division of GamePro Magazine, and was invited to speak on the “Girl Gaming Goes Mainstream” panel during SXSW in 2009.

In 2010, she became the Event Correspondent and Senior Reviews Editor for the’s, “The Game Show” on Since then, Jessica has been a guest host on G4TV’s “The Feed” on Attack of the Show, SMOSH Games' Gamer Nation, GameTrailers, Spike TV, a freelance host for Machinima's Inside Gaming and co-host of This Week In Video Games and Metacafe. In 2013 Jessica co-created Best Game Show Ever, a show she also produces. She has done on-camera reporting for numerous launch events, Anime Expo, E3, SDCC, Comikaze, E for All and the Consumer Electronic Show. 

Jessica's enthusiasm for games goes beyond her work with the media. For the past ten years she has worked with gaming promotions as a brand ambassador, trade show specialist, host and emcee. Clients she has represented include Nintendo Wii U, Wii, 3DS, DS Lite/DSi, Samsung, Hewlett Packard, Sony, Microsoft Kinect, Gears of War 3 and Capcom.

(She is also the best damn Chun Li cosplayer you will ever meet.)

Jessica had a love for gaming early on when she received a Sega Master System and Nintendo Entertainment System from her parents at a young age. She is currently playing games on next generation platforms like the PS4, Nintendo WiiU and PC.  Her favorite types of games are the kinds where you kill people who are already dead, the bloody types with flying body limbs and cussing, ones with girls who have ginormous boobies….and Nintendogs.
